Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation is seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide receptionist, secretarial and clerical services to the Housing and O & M Departments in accordance with generally accepted standards.
Position: HOUSING AND O & M CLERK
Type: FULL TIME POSITION 6-month probationary period
Salary: Depending on qualifications and experience
The Housing and O & M Clerk is responsible for coordinating the operational, clerical and secretarial functions required in the day-to-day operations of Ahtahkakoop’s Housing and CMHC’s programs and Public Works Department.
The Housing and O & M Clerk is also responsible for various administrative duties or functions relating to; accounts payable, acting as liaison with suppliers, preparing correspondence, etc.
For the purposes of determining an employees’ salary classification to the Ahtahkakoop salary grid, the individual designated as Level 2.0 must possess a Grade 12 education or equivalent complemented by a Business Certificate specializing in either one of: Accountancy, Administration, Computer Information Systems, Financial Services or Human Resource Management.
Alternatively, the individual designated as Level 1.0 should possess a Grade 12 education or equivalent complemented by a combination of; training and/or experience in the provision of management support services at the First Nations level.
