Ahtahkakoop Sub Band Office Justice Department is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team.
 
Type:              Full time with a 6month probationary period
Salary:            As per salary grid
 
SUMMARIZED DUTIES & RESPONSIBLIITIES:      
  1. Answers all incoming calls in a prompt, courteous and professional manner.
  2. Take telephone messages and direct inquiries for those staff that are unavailable and follows up with all.
  3. Responding to general inquiries of membership within capability and directing those that require further clarification or which are program specific.
  4. Handle inquiries from clientele, other personnel and provide a buffer service for the Finance and Administration department.
  5. Receives, records and distributes all incoming mail, facsimiles and packages for the program.
  6. Deal with the clientele, membership and staff in a cordial manner and respect the confidentiality of certain information and records in the office.
  7. Keep the Justice finances updated and on track.
  8. Be knowledgeable in MS Word, Excel, Data Base proficiency required.
  9. Assists the Program Head and employees with day to day office tasks within.
  10. Others duties that may be required.
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Secretarial diploma or certificate complimented by a minimum of two (2) years related
work experience
-Minimum of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Strong professional development skills to promote teamwork, unity and harmony with staff and membership
- Above average computer skills and be experienced in maintaining office records
-A Valid Driver License and a reliable vehicle, Current CPIC
-The ability to speak/understand the Cree language is an asset
