Key Responsibilities:  
Under general supervision, the Custodian will ensure the Health Centre is cleaned and maintained as per the prescribed schedule of duties and/or janitorial maintenance program. 
 
Requirements:  

• A minimum of grade 10 education or equivalent and certification in WORKPLACE Hazardous Materials Information Systems (W.H.M.I.S.). 
  
• As an alternative, the individual will have equivalent experience in the caretaking area and possess a demonstrated understanding of cleaning procedures, knowledge of cleaning processes, products and equipment. 
  
• Ability to work independently as well as a member of a team. 
  
• He/She must be Fit for Duty and be able to lift up to 25 lbs. 
  
• He/She must also be aware of proper cleaning procedures and safety measures when encountering spilled bodily fluids. 
  

 
 
Salary as per the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation’s Salary Grid for the Health Custodian Workers.
