Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist finance and accounting staff with the data entry of the general ledger entries, post receipts, disbursements, reviews coding and reconciles bank statements. This employee will function under the supervision of the Director of Finance. Position: GENERAL LEDGER CLERK Type: Full-Time Employment–Six (6) month probationary period Salary: Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience SUMMARY: Under direct supervision, THE GENERAL LEDGER CLERK maintains the Chart of Accounts and ensures that correct accounting codes are applied for all programs and departments of the Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation Band. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: - For purposes of determining an employees’ salary classification to the Ahtahkakoop salary grid, the individual designated as Level 2.0 must hold a diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution specializing in accounting, administration or commerce.
