Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation Health Centre is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist in providing culturally appropriate mental health and addiction related education and assistance and other community-based supports. The Holistic Wellness Coordinator will work under the direct supervision of the Director of Health Services.
 
Position:     HOLISTIC WELLNESS COORDINATOR
Type:           FULL TIME TERM POSITION – Six(6) month probationary period.
Salary:         Depending on qualifications and experience.
 
SUMMARY: The Holistic Wellness Coordinator will provide/coordinate therapeutic services to various individuals including children, adolescents, adults, and elderly clients. They operate in an outreach environment, such as homes, schools, and/or community agents.
 
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
For purposes of determining an employee’s salary classification to the Ahtahkakoop Salary Grid:
Level 2 must hold a university degree from an accredited post-secondary institution specializing in social work or Psychology complemented by at least four (4) year experience in the Health Care field at the First Nations level.
Alternatively, the individual designated as Level 01 should have a diploma in any of the mentioned faculties or like Certificate complemented by at least four (4) years of experience at the First Nations level.
